It has been a while since we gave our last update, but that does not mean that nothing has been happening. In fact, it has been quite the opposite here at Polker. The game development is going well, and we have released a couple of teaser videos showing the impressive graphic power of Unreal Engine 5.
Seeing how the crypto market has been, we are happy that we made the decision to use this time to continue development and move from UE4 to UE5. The game is not only more impressive, but we also have a lot more features. The play-to-earn model has been polished down to the last little detail — the game is going to be seriously impressive.

Game development is going well, however, we are working in other places too. Our new website is now live — check it out here and let us know what you think. The website has plenty of new information (including an updated Roadmap!), is much easier to navigate, and simply put it’s just much cooler!
PKR Token Buy-Back & Burn Mechanics
We know that many of you have been waiting for this for a while, well the time has come! Polker will be using 20% of all revenue to buy PKR tokens from the market big buys are incoming, and we all know what that means!
50% of the buy-back tokens will then be burned, reducing both the circulating AND total supply – this will make PKR a truly deflationary token!*
The remaining 50% of the tokens will be distributed to the staking pools, and also later to our ‘mini-games’ in which people will be able to earn PKR whilst playing. More to come on these later..!

The Early Access Game is on Unreal Engine 4 and does have known (and fixed in the UE5 game) issues, including occasional stalling. However, it’s still a great game and once you have an account it will still work once we release the public game in Q4! We will be inviting a select few (approx. 25–30 people) to run a test on the UE5 game in the coming weeks from those in the current Early Access!
*Regarding the buy-back and burn we understand there will be some questions — a full article explaining how Polker’s in-game tokenomics will now power PKR as much as PKR powers Polker, will be published next week.
